Older adults with severe apathy, or lack of interest in usual activities, may have a greater chance of developing dementia than people with few symptoms of apathy, according to a study. Apathy may be a very early sign of dementia and it can be evaluated with a brief questionnaire.

I've spent more time outside than usual since the pandemic hit (if I don't count the time I usually spend working because I work outside), I got laid off for 4 months then came back to work for 3 and got laid off again last week...

I've started jogging again, fixed my bike and used it for the first time in 10 years, we bought a cottage (obviously not everyone can afford that) and a dog...

If I compare that to one of my colleagues it seems like he spent all his time off arguing with his wife and although he's past retirement age, the four months made him realise he can't mentally afford to retire because he never took the time to find things he likes to do (like a ton of people his age).
