This sociological approach to her outfit is nitpicky in the general context of Olivia’s era considering she herself has been going for a fashionable, cute-but-punk approach in her videos and real life.

A conversation like this can be had for majority of Ariana Grande’s outfits, for example, as she never leans towards fashion but tries to build a “sexy-Lolita” persona at times in costume-like outfits that makes me way uncomfortable. And I LOVE Ariana Grande so this isn’t even me being shady, it’s just the truth.
