You clearly don't understand vaccines. A vaccine is like a practice session or fire drill for your immune system. It gives it a chance to recognize the virus and respond more quickly. Vaccines don't guarantee you won't get the virus. If you're exposed, then you're exposed. But a vaccinated person's immune system will kick in much more effectively for most people, and prevent the virus from becoming worse. Thus a vaccinated person is less likely to have a serious illness or hospitalization. And this is what we have actually seen. The vast majority of those who are hospitalized and/or die are unvaccinated. Omicron is much more communicable, so it's actually more imperative to have people be vaccinated sine exposure is much more likely with variant.

You can go to a fight with or without armor. Wearing armor doesn't mean you don't have to fight. It means you're better equipped to survive.
