Omnislash: Rastakhan's Rumble Meta w/ Brian Kibler

i agree with basically everything you wrote.

especially the genn and baku part is such a big thorn in my side too. even more so when you consider the arguments blizzard made in their statements when they adjusted some cards for instance, the best example being "the limitation of design space" i'm talking for instance about the blade flurry nerf - never mind that it took like 1 1/2? 2 years? after that for rogue to get a relevant new weapon/weaponbuff (kingsbane).

so you're telling me baku/genn don't restrict WAY more what they can print for EVERY single class and neutrals and in any given mana slot? level up had to be nerfed to 6 because it was bonkers in odd pally - not because the card was unfair at 5 mana. and the same logic applies to every single card they will print in future expansions.

baku/genn are the worst mistake they have made in their card design decisions throughout the entire history of hearthstone, and it's not even close imo. it's even more infuriating because most of the cards in witchwood/boomsday/rastakhan would appear to be a step in the right direction with a lower powerlevel than the abomination that was k&c, and apart from baku/genn/shudder less problematic cards. which would have inspired hope that the game could actually be somewhat balanced in the future in standard, with perhaps less polarizing matchups. however especially baku/genn put a monstrous dent in that hope.. will certainly be interesting if the new expansion in april has a low power level, couples with the DKs being gone, how much of the meta will be baku/genn powered..
