Come on bros

No I read it just fine.

It’s a futile attempt at addressing a much larger issue. The “boys are defective girls” (toxic masculinity) attitude within western culture robs boys of their physical identity.

Society guides them away from things that are challenging and make a person strong and instead directs the ones who don’t win a life lottery into dark corners of the internet. It’s so much bigger than just “Bros being there for each other”

It’s the same attitude that is radicalizing young men in the western world. Look at the “white terrorists” from recent years. Sure, it’s easy to say they are racist, because that’s what their actions show, but to hate something or someone you don’t understand requires anger first and I believe there’s a strong case to be made that the anger arises from a lack of meaningful connection with society. It certainly would explain how a person could massacre innocent people.

So the question becomes WHY do they not have a meaningful connection? And I would make the argument that the Western narrative that it’s better to be “oppressed” than to be in the “oppressor class” (men or god forbid a white man) leads boys AWAY from avenues of self actualization that would otherwise help them connect with society. So instead they are turned out of highschool, miserable for unknown reasons, entering a stagnant job market with few people skills and people tell them they just need to be more vulnerable?! There IS nothing more vulnerable than someone who rejects their physical identity...
