On today's episode of "Eating and Abortions are Probably the Same Thing so Let's Talk About them as Such???"

Are you proposing it's not someone's choice if they want to be fat? What do you suppose we should do with such people who choose to be fat even with all the facts and knowledge and a complete understanding and acknowledgement of them?

My body, my choice is not just used with pro-choice abortion issues. It's often used in regards to sex workers (willing workers), clothing choices, makeup choices, partner choices and a whole host of other things that are in fact your choice to do with your own adult body, no matter how unhealthy or stupid looking it may be.

Hell, I shouted 'my hair, my choice' at my step-mum when she proposed that my dad forcibly stop me from cutting my hair (I am 30 years old and we're not in India).

The goal of this sub is not, or at least should not be, forcing health choices on people. It should be ensuring people have the facts about weight and health and the knowledge that long-term weight loss is possible. From there, it's entirely their choice.
