You should blame rape on “mental illness.” If that was the case then I would have raped hundreds of people by now since I have adhd, autism, bipolar2 and borderline.(none are self diagnosis.) My rapist KNEW what he was doing. He gave me alcohol when I was 17, knowing I was 17. He made advances when I had drank the whole drink and refilled it. He lied to my parents about where I was. When we got back to my town he raped me again. Held me against him as I cried and screamed, begging him to stop. He got off faster and I remember that rape more because I was less drunk. No, I couldn’t have gotten out and ran. It was 2 am, 8°F and my house was a block away. He does not have any mental disorders and he was not drunk. And he if he did have an MD it was drunk, that’s still on HIM. Not on a mental disorder. Place blame where blame goes
