This one actually made me angry

Look I apparently am not getting this across, show me a lick of data that proves speeding is dangerous, that proof should include all of the data which means it needs to show the number of people that speed that are not involved in a traffic incident. Do you understand that? Do any of you understand that?

A great deal of the information is missing. Every day I exceed the speed limit and yet everyday I am not involved in a traffic collision. Not once in my time driving (only 14 years) have I been in a traffic collision while I was driving the vehicle. The two collisions I have had the privilege of being in where not a result of speeding, now I understand my experience does not dictate everyone else's experience anymore than say half of the speeding is dangerous data does but just to make a clear representation of how dangerous it is monitor yourself daily for an extended period of time as long as you think necessary to get a good gauge on how dangerous speeding is and tell me the results.

Try to establish things such as the number of times driven in the given period. The number of miles driven in that period. The number of trips in a given day. The number of times you exceeded the speed limit by 1 mph or more. Now the most important part the number of traffic incidents you were involved in. A few more might be the speed at which you were traveling during your traffic incident if it did occur as well as the speed of the other vehicle. The road conditions during any traffic incidents. Now when you are done studying yourself pay attention to the speed of others during the next period are they exceeding the limit? How many of them are? You may notice that easily 50% of the drivers on the road are in fact exceeding the speed limit when traffic is permitting.

I won't explain the issue with speeding being about safety again as I really cannot be anymore clear about this and I just don't care. I like most people speed nearly every time I drive. The law affects me maybe once a year, I pay the ticket after delaying the courts for as long as I can and it affects me in almost no way. It just isn't factual because we don't have all of the data, we don't know how many people speed daily that are not involved in accidents, I understand that your entire life you have been told speeding is dangerous and it is incredibly hard to break that mentality when year after year you hear the same rhetoric but it's just like most myths, it may be beneficial but it doesn't make it true.
