One argument against having children: being born can't be any better than not being born, and in practice it's a lot worse than being unborn.

I completely disagree. I am an antinatalist, and don’t think it’s wise to have children in the future, but this charts claim that it is impossible to have good wellbeing is just rubbish.

We all know practically, just because some pain exists doesn’t mean one cannot experience pleasure or enjoy their life. Pain does not need to overshadow every positive experience.

I’m happy to expand if anyone cares. I feel like a lot of this sub is full of people who hate life or are depressed. I quite enjoy life and have positive wellbeing, and yet still don’t think it’s wise to bring children into the world because of a number of future occurrences(global warming, disparity between rich and poor, etc.)
