One of the best cosplays I have ever seen (Bioshock).

While WTF is probably a little strong, it sort of goes back to the whole "le parenting right" thing that is always said here. I always love when these cosplay things pop up with the "parenting done right" shtick. I go to a ton of conventions, and I really need to find the pictures i took this one time of this 40 year old woman as Emma Frost, half naked, tits all out, while dudes are posing with her as she is encouraging everyone to do proactive poses and feel her up as her 5 year old son is with her in the back ground crying screaming about how he doesn't want to be here and he wants to just go home and be with his dad.

Le parenting...doing it right, guiz. Real WTF talk about this photo - the little girl probably didn't even want to go but was told if she's acts as a prop, they will take her to Disney land. I've seen kids get used as props for even less. Yea yea yea, bonding time or whatever, but still it's fucking weird when talking to these people, because I've worked as staff at cosplay events, and the kid speaks out and goes "Yeah for coming to this stupid thing, I'm getting a new video game!" and the parents just turn red.

I've seen so many temper tantrums and just uncomfortable moments from parents forcing their kids to come to these events, and have had the unfortunate moments of having to get security to move these people the fuck out. There is a reason a lot of cosplay stuff is now moving towards 18+ and up for registration only. I believe Otakon's official cosplay stuff, the Masquerade and all that, is now separated into groups, if you have a kid you HAVE to be placed in a certain designated area because they are tired of dealing with the shit. It's not all happy happy joy joy as these photos make it out to be. Sure, the girl at 7, or whatever she is, might be a Bioshock connoisseur.... But I think not.
