One class kept me from getting my CS degree

As other people said, it doesn't feel like you're fighting hard enough. This is your career, your future, your life on the line. Are you going to tell me that an email and one meeting is as far as you're willing to go?

Go in-person to your adviser, beg and plead with your adviser, and give them every single thing you've told us in your thread about your economic situation, the effort you've devoted to this double major and the excellence you've had in your classes, and really show that you're not just some kid trying to game the system but a truly motivated and passionate person. Go back to them over and over and over, through email and in person. If that doesn't work/while you're doing this, also do the same with a dean or administrator or even professors higher up the chain.

And if all else fails, where are you located? Tech jobs should not require a BS in CS, straight up. Try applying to more things on the west coast or in the southwest if you're from the east coast, since I know that many east coast companies still weigh "prestige" highly (a cultural thing, I guess) compared to techie culture on the West coast.
