1. Joke around, make her laugh, make the mood relax
2. Once that is accomplished you go a bit up close in some way or other. Mindless small talk will bore her. So up close and question who she is .. Up close and show off yourself .. Find where you align and where you are different and make a case for that it's all good
3. If you've managed to pull that off too then you escalate .. You don't have to make out or sleep with girl even if that helps, but if you don't make her the slightest curious as to how sex with you is .. Don't make her the slightest sexually attracted then it's straight to the friendzone with you.
