One Dead After Two People Run Over By Truck At Stonewall Pride Parade in Wilton Manors

I really didn't catch it like that, sorta seemed like one guy was one-upping with a story about a car he built for racing that does require 2 foot braking, other guy agreed but it just wasn't what he was discussing. I think the second guy took offense to the use of "bud", which honestly is very common slang (I guess depending on where you live/age, personally Canadian) for someone who's a friend, but I think in the US it can have a more negative connotation. Beyond that, I think everyone understands that this is sort of a one-up story to comment on, he didn't really comment at all about the original post (i.e. adding "...and definitely not on the public roads") except to insert his own loosely tangential story. I don't really think anyone is in the "wrong" until bringing "asshole" into it.
