One in five Japan employees face 'death from overwork': Report

It's apologists that make people look weak, I've been on both sides and most people with the same experience will tell you the same thing. I don't think it's bad to be an employee, I think it's bad to complain about working at 11pm without giving context, making it sound like employees are being exploited when they are in the most comfortable position. I'll say that again, MOST COMFORTABLE, not BEST. Obviously I'm pro risk, pro high effort, pro ambition. Working for someone = more security, less work, stable income. Working for yourself = high risk, more work, unstable income. Social securty, unions, even law are in favor of employees. The system treats people like stupid sheep and companies like big bad wolves. And on the topic of working hours : employees don't work 1/3rd of their time, they work a portion of that time. You're not fooling me, I've sat at a desk before. We love to complain about over hours but when we're browsing Facebook or taking 45 minute breaks every 2 hours, nobody writes it down. 9to5 jobs are not that bad. This guy just complained about receiving a call at 11 pm... Am I crazy to think it's normal when I'm still sitting in my office at 2am when my wife and son are already sleeping? It's just part of being a human being, be productive and happy.
