The fact that so many Americans at that extremely high income are choosing to spend it all instead of building wealth is a cultural problem, not an economic one.

source please. i completely disagree. medical costs have skyrocketed, housing prices have outpaced inflation by several times, student loans are crippling entire generations, and wages have stagnated since the 80s.
