Vegans are really over dramatising holsteins..like they birth the calf, and just leave. They don't care, their breed no longer cares nor gets stress from it. All the cows wanna do is lay down and munch away, and they don't give birth all that offten, they get plenty of rest in between. And they actually enjoy the milking because offten they get treats, so they go into the milking machines on their own, and their teets are not sensetive(as in rash or smth), or infected, they get cleaned and disinfected, calves actually are more rough with their moms because they headbutt the udder and chew on the teet. The calves get a lil indoors pasture to roam about, at least in the humane farms.

Now it is not all farms that are humane like that, there are plenty that are god awful and you should do research to buy milk from a farm that cares about their cows and want them living happy and long because it is better in the end.

I know this, I seen it with my own eyes.
