Mostly I just don’t think you should name your kids after super recognizable fictional characters. How will people react to that? Some people might be fine with it, others might think it’s stupid. How does that reflect on your parents? You might get made fun of it in school. As an adult, some people might take you less seriously professionally, either consciously or unconsciously. All of this because your parents were super into a TV show at the time you were born. How do your parents even know they will still like Game of Thrones in 10, 20, 30 years? Peoples tastes change, and your name isn’t just a name if it comes from a work of fiction, it will forever be associated with the TV show/book that it came from. I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of these kids end up changing their names because they don’t want to be associated with a TV show they might not even like.
