I mean... Robot superhero has abilities revealed, right before he disappears, that mechanical shapeshifting is his superpower. Then new mechanical being with an ambiguous and weak backstory when prompted appears where Drive Knight was going. Then that new mechanical being fights heroes, leaves them wholly undamaged and escapes, then Drive Knight reappears basically right after new mechanical being escapes.

There's still people in the whole "G5 isnt DK" camp, which would be a twist (that relies on obvious story points being subverted) but the narrative elements are way to strong for me to think otherwise. it's what he was investigating that still has me guessing.
