One Redditor decided shared his encounter of racism in Singapore. The folks in r/Singapore are not happy.

This will probably get buried but the argument in the original thread (which has been locked) was that given the clear evidence that the OP has lied multiple times about her background, it seemed like a real possibility that she lied about the racism part too. The debate here is not whether racism exists in Singapore (because like all countries, it definitely does), but whether the OP made up her stories.

Since the OP has taken the default position of a victim, it's hard for anyone here to bother reading through the original thread to understand the whole argument. This is especially since the creator of this thread has taken an incredibly one-sided stand with the OP and included only the irrational hate comments from the original thread here to distort the perspective of everyone here.
