One of the signs at the protests against Boris Johnson in the UK

The Brexit referendum was a binary choice between remaining or leaving, voters have not been asked about whether they want to leave only when an agreement is reached, or to leave no matter what. The government has ignored this fact, and the latter interpretation has been adopted by extremists in the government without the mandate to do so, all while they hide behind the phrase 'will of the British people'. Throughout the process, they have repeatedly acted undemocratically in pursuit of this goal, with Boris suspending parliament being the most recent example.

There's absolutely nothing rich about remainers complaining that the opposition is undemocratic.
