One small emergency can set someone back enormous amounts of money and, when living paycheck to paycheck, it feels like there is no way out.

I was forced to check into a mental health ward earlier this year after a welfare check. Someone got word that I was feeling extra depressed and the cops gave me no choice to go or they’ll get rough with me.

They do all they can to help you get your mental health in a good place: Classes, group talks, activities, nutrition planning and daily sessions with the psychiatrist.

Was finally released due to “improvement” and I swear to got the $10,000 bill basically put me right back into the depression I originally went in for lol

Lesson learned: keep my depression and struggles with mental health quiet. I literally can’t afford to mention my depression.
