One State Is Stopping Neo-Feudalism.

Meh, I do okay.

For the last five years my household income has fluctuated between the top 5 and 10 percent of earners in my state. We're definitely not poor, and we work for our money, we don't just buy homes on credit rent them out and profit from other people's labor.

My thinking on public good has nothing to do with my personal interests or investments mostly because public good is completely unrelated, but also because we've actively avoiding becoming the kind of people who try to use our success to become more successful at the known to us detriment of less successful people. We don't agree with the outcomes even when we're in a position to benefit from them.

We aren't all about us. Importantly, even selfishly, we can't be. We have too many loved ones who haven't been nearly as lucky, and if we're honest we don't have the budget to prop them up financially forever. Things have to become more equitable and affordable or they'll be left to die if we don't exhaust the entirety of the fruits of our labor to prevent that.
