Wow. Both BC (63%) and Canada (73%) are still white majority in population, in federal parliament (83%), and all Vancouver city councillors, which means it's still white people in positions of power. Not saying that incoming legislature is inherently racist (especially since there are active steps to increase diversity in government) but that totally knocks off the power portion of your comment. The concept of privilege in North America is a very long conversation to have that I'm not typing out because you don't care enough for me to spend the time, but just a heads up that what you said is bullshit.
