One-third of Canadians don't want politicians to wear religious symbols: poll

How does a Sikh Turban promote homophobia? Sikhism is quiet on homosexuality, it doesn't have a single passage or quote about it. Sexism? Both Men and Women in the Sikh faith are encouraged to wear a Turban, women generally don't because of how they are judged (by non-Sikhs) more for wearing one, google Sikh women Turban to see for yourself. Oppression? Oppression of whom? Have you seen a Sikh temple? MOST of the people there don't even keep their hair uncut, they're clean shaven, but no one cares, in addition, anyone can enter a Sikh temple, their holiest site has 4 paths to symbolize that all faiths are welcome in their temples (including no faiths) and to eat their free food in their dining halls. That's on top of the fact some Sikhs, including the former leader of the Communist party in India (Harkishan Singh Surjeet), wear Turbans DESPITE being an atheist because it's a cultural thing for them, not religious. They seem a lot more accommodating of people with differences then you do. Hopefully we don't live in your society of uniforms for everyone, just because you can't handle fancy clothing options.
