Were Trump elected by popular vote without the electoral college because for some reason the electoral college was abolished, you would be bitching about how we never should have gotten rid of the electoral college.

Nope.

if you look at a map of the election 90% of the map is red for Trump.

Which includes vast amounts of open space where not a single human being lives, but okay.

whether you like it or not, people in California can't know what's good or bad for someone in a state they've never even seen in person

First of all, I doubt you've ever seen any of these places in person because you're probably a foreign propagandist spouting bullshit on here. Second of all, why in the fucking world would you assume that because I'm from California, I haven't been to any of those states? It's actually far more likely that I have seen those places (which I have), since I'm, as Republicans like to say, a "rich California elite" who has disposable income and likes to travel.

So, some farmer hick from North Dakota knows what's best for me in San Francisco, CA, the most innovative tech city in the world and second densest city in the country? Okay, that makes a ton of sense.
