One year and counting

Had it for two years now, it's not as bad as year one, but certain things are still affected by it for me: red wine, lemon, my favourite perfumes, processed beef, onions and garlic to name a few. I've found that eating slowly and breathing out through my nose helps things. Really focus your mind on what the correct taste should be while doing it. Also it's funny that beef burgers taste like they've gone off a little, but ribeye steak tastes as good as it ever did. My wallet loves that. And yeah, literally aaaaall the naughty sweet stuff tastes just like it should, donuts, cakes, chocolate, pie, god damn is it hard to resist! I've found the best substitute to keep it healthy but still like a rich desert is find a really good chocolate flavored protein powder that you like, make a shake with that and then add it to a bowl of raw oats and let them soak it all up. Yum. Low sugar, high protein, filling, perfect.
