One year studying Japanese

It's not even rude man. It's the truth/reality. And you are trying to be passive aggressive because your ego is hurt when confronted with the truth. Did you pass a JLPT test? no. Hell, you even recognized that the time constraints would be an issue....which is a huge part of test-taking! And a mock test is completely different from a real test, unless you completely emulate all aspects of the test (length, time, setting, etc). And even then, it's still not the same.

Also, just because your tutor assessed things doesn't matter. Your tutor might not be familiar with the JLPT. They might have just read or looked over some basic stuff and just took a guess as to where you'd be. Proving, yet again, that it's another form of self-assessment.

If you are going to get so butt hurt over very honest comments and try to victimize yourself or villainize the maker of these comments as a coping mechanism, please just go and take the JLPT test this December. That's really all you can do. Or try to combat some of these negative coping mechanism (but this is a different conversation that I won't get into).
