I don't feel that small of an increase would have been the biggest deal breaker. To be honest with you. I am in the US so for our market, phones around that price range don't vary that much. If for 720 Euro I get a one plus 7 pro with wireless charging vs 700 for it without wireless charging. I don't feel you will have many phones rivaling it with such a small increase, but I am going off of the flag ship moniker that one plus is looking for, so when it measures up to samsung or google and they have a feature becoming more widespread and common and the newest flagship on the market doesn't, some may see that as just cutting corners and not worth it.

I like my 6t a lot and probably will skip the the 7 line altogether just due to my phone being from November, but it is definitely alluring and the improvements made are worthwhile if you are coming from any predecessor below a 6t or I guess a 6 as well.
