Online gains / OTB Losses

Hah, I was actually on tilt from losing to a 1300 the round before. I have no problems with the french exchange as I am happy to play fairly dull openings myself.

I went to that club one other time, and they literally threw someone out for being too loud. I've never been at a club where over half of the kids are regularly talking to you during the game, and the tables next to you are all loud. It might well be Tennessee so I am not sure. It's a beautiful building and a nice space in a great neighborhood.

I've played at close to a half dozen clubs in new jersey, as well as the Marshall, and i go regularly to a couple in the texas area where I live.

I guess my point is you make your own luck. You deserved that win 100% just as much as I deserved that loss. You had to find the moves you found.

The last thing I'd say is if you do play nashville try to play up as much as you can. I saw an event where you played the lower division. That won't help you at all. you're just as likely to choke against a 1200 as a 800, but you can easily beat both of them and only the 1200 will give you rating points.

and once you get to 1400, you get your first floor, which takes some of the pressure off, but I feel your pain, i have gone backwards from the start of 2015.

if i can help let me know.
