"The only Biblically appropriate response to why some are healed and some aren't. 'I Don't Know." So important in comforting the grieving. Why "it's God's will," and "you don't have enough faith" are bad answers.

I have a testimony to share that shows that Jesus is still healing today and that you can share in this ministry if you believe in Jesus.

So a few years ago I went on a missionary trip to Mexico with a small group of people. We took a huge load of donations from the east coast by truck all the way across the border. So one of my goals while I was over there was to share this beautiful gift of healing with some of the poorest people of Mexico and give them direct evidence to believe in Jesus.

So this one guy was a few years younger than me. He went to the church of the pastor who was hosting us over there. One day we were, as a group spending some time in the kitchen late at night, and I saw that this young man had his arm wrapped up. He spoke some English, much better than my Spanish, so I asked him what was wrong with his hand or what had happened? He told me that he fell on it and couldn't move some of his fingers and it was badly swollen casuing him pain and discomfort.

I asked him if I could pray for him to receive healing, he seemed happy to have someone pray for him. I prayed for his hand as the Bible teaches, in the name of Jesus, and spoke healing into his hand, essentially telling the swelling to leave and the pain to go as well.

So the whole time I'm praying, I'm looking for results. He replies and says things are feeling better, the swelling is slowly going down. Keep in mind, I wasn't making a big show out of this, my prayers were simple and direct in a conversational voice; because it's not really me doing the healing anyways, but God the Father and Jesus.

We parted ways shortly after and He went home and I went to sleep on the couch, but the next day he showed up without his hand wrapped up as he had the night before. I went to see how he was doing and he was shaking hands, hi-fiving left and right. That was because God had healed his hand completely over that night: from not being able to move your fingers and swelling all over, to completely normal the next day.

This happened many more times throughout my trip to Mexico. Eye problem, toe pain, 10/10 feet hurt and hard to walk >> all pain gone and still many others.

Here is why and how I and other believers can do such things, because it was the last words that Jesus said in Mark 16:15-20

15 And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. 16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. 17 These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages. 18 They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”

19 When the Lord Jesus had finished talking with them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down in the place of honor at God’s right hand. 20 And the disciples went everywhere and preached, and the Lord worked through them, confirming what they said by many miraculous signs.
