'Only bones and fragments': California wildfire toll at 25 as grim searches go on

Every thread I see about this makes me so angry. It just keeps getting worse. PG&E is such an evil company. My firm litigates against them year after year and they won’t change their practices to stop this from happening. They are one of the only (if not the only) utility companies to ever be held criminally liable and branded a FELON in the San Bruno explosion. They knew a gas line was faulty and didn’t fix it and it blew up and killed a bunch of people. I’m so tired of this. I know it doesn’t help that we don’t do controlled burns and things like that so when fires do start burning they get out of control easily, but when is the company causing all this destruction actually going to change its ways?

You want an example of a good utility company? SDG&E got their shit handed to them for starting the San Diego fires years ago and actually changed their practices. We haven’t sued them since. But we sue PG&E every damn year.
