Why is it that only IU fights against industry?

The scalping thing is interesting! As a fan living in Korea and hoping to get tickets, I’d love to see it work out! I have seen similar messages from other artists without seeing much change, but the merch/ticket incentive is new. With normal ticketing offering up to 4 tickets per account I was worried that scalpers would be a nightmare.

(Also, I did want to say for the prices $1000+ seems excessive for Korean standard, especially as base ticket prices for even VIP usually don’t go over around 220,000 won. I see a lot of scalping while searching for concert information and most of the time the range is from concert ticket price +10,000 won up to around +400,000/500,000 won max for the most coveted concerts/seats. IU floor ticket scalpers are advertising +300-400 this time, so $230-$300. If anyone is paying $1000+ for tickets in Korea for any group other than BTS you’re almost certainly being ripped off even more than scalpers usually do!)
