They only joined to be army bratz

Not every Soldier/Sailor/Marine/Airman carries a rifle on the daily - in fact the grand majority don't. More people are in Support MOS's than are in Combat Arms. Outside of training, rifle qualifications, and deployments, you won't be toting around your M4 around on the daily. Even as an Infantryman.

Also your basic Military Combatives program is rudimentary even by many civilian standards. So don't think they're all Super Soldiers in hand-to-hand either.

Point being: the harassment, assault, rape, and murder of Service Members happens exactly the same way it happens to Civilians. The women are in no way more or less capable of stopping or defending themselves from the violence enacted by another because of the uniform they wear or job they hold.

What makes it all the more sickening is the levels of trust, respect, and unquestionable authority that comes with life in the Military. The perpetrators who take advantage of that are cowards and traitors of the lowest order.
