I want to caution you on the likelyhood that it will gain traction, mostly because mainstream sites like instagram, facebook, reddit, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., all offer the ability to self publish without limiting the audience to only bike tourists, which is the fatal flaw. these are your real competitors, not CGOAB.

r/bicycletouring has seen a few of these attempts to create a modern alternative to CGOAB. the operators of one of their competitors actually did some really, really nasty shit over the past two years when they couldn't figure out why people wouldn't switch over to THEIR new platform, even though CGOAB is indeed quite old and finicky.
