In Ontario, Doug Ford repealed the Green Energy Act. The Ontario PCs also receive $500,000+ from energy corporations in donations. Is Ford working for the people or for big business?

How is it still legal for corporations to make political donations?

In Quebec, only private citizens are allowed to contribute and the total contributions that an elector may make during a calendar year are limited to $100.

Political donations must be given to Elections Quebec, the office in charge of the electoral process who then sends the donations to the respective political parties.

Only contributions of less than $50 can be made directly to the party.

Unions, groups, companies or other non-private citizen are forbidden from making political donations.
