Ontario government ponders ban on single-use plastics

While I agree with you, this is exactly the kind of situation (among a million others) where people either have to accept that fighting climate change and environmental collapse is going to be EXTREMELY inconvenient, or accept that they don't REALLY want to see the change they say they do.

This is why more isn't done at a political level to fight the largest contributors to these problems - it will heavily effect the voting public. Things will cost more, options will disappear, convenience will go down, and any real change will be won in the face of an angry majority.

You can't have your cake and eat it too on these issues. You either make people suffer for the greater good or we continue barreling towards the cliff's edge.
