Ontario teachers are striking because 5 year olds are basically terrorists and they can’t drag them to the principals office.

Let’s not get distracted with “this kid is autistic” and “that kid is from an abusive home” bullshit. That’s the population distribution card you’re dealt.

My point is these situations are foreseeable and preventable. Not hiring qualified staff and not having an action plan to deal with these situations is a systemic failure of the institution, not the individual teacher or student.

Teachers striking over this is sad and pathetic because they are in effect supporting their institutions’ ineptitude and corruption by begging the public for more money and demonstrating their lack of care for children’s education by not being in the classroom.
