When I was 16, I was told by an OB-GYN that I couldn’t have kids due to both ovaries were covered in cysts. He said I could try invitro when the time came, but it probably wouldn’t work. Met a guy who had also been told he was sterile, first from having the mumps as a kid, then again when he was 16 he was riding his motorcycle and was hit head on by a drunk driver in a van. He was in a coma for a week and his balls swelled to the size of cantaloupes. So we thought, between the 2 of us, birth control wasn’t necessary. Surprise surprise I got pregnant within the first month. And yes, it was absolutely his. There was no side action going on. Just several doctors that were wrong wrong wrong. After our son was born, I was again told I couldn’t have kids because more cysts on my ovaries and a pituitary tumor. I only had about 2 periods a year, and at one point went a year and a half without a period. Child #2 was born 3 years later.
