Being born in 1991 I kinda remember the change from SNES to N64 and when Nintendo released OOT everyone knew immediately that it was not only a good game but a revolutionary one too. Everyone was talking about it in my school. I would go over to my friends house and play it basically every day. I think for me the reason why OOT is so special is because it's like one of the best things that came from an era of monumental change and innovation in video games. Even thinking back now I'm remembering other things like playing Smash Bros, Golden eye, or Army Men sarge's heroes with three of my cousin's one summer. Or getting Paper Mario and not realizing the masterpiece I was about to play.
