For example Edris Elba in Thor. That was a race swap, and do you know why no one hardly noticed or complained. Because it was done so well and his race was not the deciding factor in him playing that role.

Lol wtf? I remember the tantrums being thrown about that; Idris Elba himself had to defend his casting in the movie. Tons of bitching about how there are no ″black norse gods″, exactly like the people bitching now about how there are no black hobbits, dwarves, or elves, or rather, they believe there shouldn't be.

Reactionaries always do this shit. They lose their fucking minds at minorities and women in media and then years later they act like it was uncontroversial at the time and NOW women and minorities have gone too far. Years from now Rings Of Power will be ″representation done right″ and Star Wars Episode 23: The Sith′s Awakening will be a ″politically correct woke SJW agendafest″ because a Transgender woman plays one of the extras.
