OP delivers when asked about a 20 year old trauma teddy.

It’s definitely dependent on the area. When my brother, mother, and I were in an bad car accident in Maricopa County, Arizona around 2003, emergency services gave us teddy bears. They were actually really high quality; they had a little blue scrub shirt, a leg with a removable plastic cast (perfect for signing!), and a little crutch. Super cute. My brother had to be air lifted out immediately for surgery with my mom and my dad was out of town, so I had to go and just hang out at a family friend’s house for a day or so. I was about seven years old; that bear was a real comfort. My brother and I played with them for years afterwards. They’re both still floating around my parents house somewhere.
