[OPB] Experts: Oregon seems to be in ‘perpetual drought’

The good news is most people are now taking climate change seriously.

Are they though? Anecdotal, but it seems like most people are still just like "huh, guess we better do something about that sometime". It doesn't seem to be registering as the crisis it really is. Most people I know just want to get back to the "normal" behavior that's creating climate change. So much so, they did it with a deadly pandemic going on. We rushed reopening the state so we can all get "back to business as usual".

We're so far away from any change it's laughable if it wasn't so serious. https://www.opb.org/article/2021/07/29/portland-far-from-meeting-carbon-emissions-goals/
