OpenAI tries to install Gentoo

Richard Stallman doesn't like Gentoo on the desktop. At least, I think it was Stallman who said it. The issue is that it does very little for people. It's no good if you install a Linux distribution which is poorly documented, because that causes other Linux distributions to have to deal with it. There are thousands of different versions out there in use, so if you install one that is a complete mess, you'll have to deal with another which is even worse for you. This makes it very difficult to find a reliable installation. There are actually a couple of different ways of achieving good Debian on the desktop, both of them using the gnome-session package. The first is to create a desktop which uses Gnome's gnome-session (in this case it would be GNOME 3). Gnome-session is really nice. We got rid of the mouse, which we liked because it was easy to add new widgets from, but this was annoying for our users who sent death threats to our head developer, Yuji Ide.
