[OPINION] Rich filmmakers who probably haven't paid money to go see a film in a regular modern cinema in years/decades need to stop running their mouths about "the sanctity of the movie theater experience" and admonishing home viewing, which is often a far purer film experience these days.

As a German: a growing number of people I meet enjoy watching films in their original audio, mostly English.

Cinemas usually show films dubbed in German. DVDs and streaming has the original audio. This is a far superior experience than at a cinema.

Oh I don't like 3D, As I cannot wear my glasses underneath most 3D glasses.

I also love putting my feet on the couch table, eating selfmade snacks, being plastered and in comfy clothing.

Visiting a cinema is something for meeting friends and doing something together and because the film is not available otherwise. It's nothing that is undertaken solely because of the movie itself. Watching at home is more about the movie itself, more intimate.
