Pros: great value for the equipment provided. Lots of different ways to train. Tend to be real clean. Lots of locations if you’re a frequent traveler. Easy check-in.
Cons: can get crowded, so occasionally there’s a wait for in-demand equipment (benches, assisted pull-up), and sometimes you have to be extra vigilant about space, as there are a lot of younger or less-experienced folks without any training or etiquette: this can range from high school kids dropping their weights or not reracking, to oblivious people walking way too close to cable machines. No extra amenities (no sauna/steam, pool, juice bar, massage). Most locations close at 7pm.
