Opinions on Eazy E?

Growing up in this era, I’d argue Eazy and NWA were the first nail in hiphop’s coffin, but you guys aren’t ready for that yet. Anyways, Eazy was never really an talented MC, he just had a catchy voice. Dre admitted to having to cut and paste Eazy’s lyrics to the beat because he couldn’t rhyme on beat. Didn’t even write his own lyrics. Hardly an artist, he was a business man/drug dealer opportunist with money who wanted to make more money off hip hop. An unfortunate trend that has continued to this day.

Of course you didn’t ask about any of that. His first album was good thanks to Dre’s production. The rest of his stuff was pretty generic
