Opinions on Myers-Briggs, "16 Personalities," test?

Please provide a single piece of evidence that anything I said was "haughty."

I am speaking about a subject with which there is universal consensus among professionals. I speak firmly because there is a firm conclusion to be reached.

I pointed out that I know what I'm talking about because if I didn't, people would have accused me of not knowing what I'm talking about. You can say this is me being arrogant, and perhaps that's not entirely untrue, but you must also acknowledge the utility in clarifying that you have extensive knowledge on a subject and that you aren't just talking out of your ass.

My second response was motivated by a desire to help him. This is how EVERY DISCUSSION on the internet goes:

1) Wrong statement

2) Refutation of wrong statement

3) Self-deceptive ego defenses

He asked for a discussion of MBTI; between my initial link and subsequent comment I explained everything that you could possibly need to know about the MBTI.

Rather than take issue with any of it, he insulted me. You also insulted me. I suggest that while you may find my behavior "arrogant," nothing I have done is in any way immoral or unethical; I am merely firm about an area in which I am exceptionally well-educated, and where my conclusions are backed by every available piece of evidence.

Please, explain to me how insulting me is any less immature than anything I did.
