It depends, to be honest. The basics are:

Invulnerable boss phase incoming? Then you will only have time to build to medium stacks. Use every ability asides from maelstrom and Void Strike. When you throw your x12+ surge, then use maelstrom + void striker to gain your 3 orbs back.

Standard rotation? Wind Cut -> Activate Death Trance -> Spincutter -> Earth Cleaver -> Blitz Rush (put on dark charge tripod) -> maelstrom -> Soul Absorber -> Void Strike (tap it if you know boss is going to be stationary -> Spincutter -> throw Wind Cut at x16-17 stacks and cast your surge (might have to delay/auto attack for half a second so the x20 surge stack will register).
