Orange Theory?

I prefer class-based exercise to solo work; the camaraderie and coaching really motivates me and holds me accountable to attending and pushing myself. I'm not going to discourage you by saying you can do all of this on your own for cheaper (though you definitely can). The first step is to think about whether you like being a solo gym goer or not, because if you do, Orange Theory is pointless.

If you do better in class-based formats, I will offer that I did a fitness bootcamp extremely similar to Orange Theory for 6 months, and then switched to Crossfit, and I've seen much better results with Crossfit. Orange Theory is geared towards weight loss, whereas Crossfit is geared for strength training and physical conditioning (fat loss and building muscle mass are nice bonuses). Crossfit has a steeper learning curve, but I think it makes it more engaging over time. After 6 months of bootcamp style fitness, I had plateaued in results and gotten bored with the programming. I think it would take years to reach that point with Crossfit. My friend has been doing it for 4 years and is still working on mastering some of the advanced movements.
