I use this agent, and bulk rename utility. I've also been toying with filemaker to create an automated naming program that keeps track of the episode #, and names new ones accordingly, while also generating all the necessary .nfo files at scan time.

I only use the agent for naming and genre, but there are other things you could add to the nfo files that might suit your needs. I'd have to look at his code, and see what fields he imports with his agent. All I use right now is Site - s01e01 - filename.

TLDR: Fake a tv show. Generate all your own metadata. Create an elaborate database, if that's what your into.
